'47's flagship store on Boston's upscale Newbury Street was in need of an update. The company recently underwent a brand shift, and it's flagship space needed to reflect the change.
The bones of the former space were there; exposed brick, original floors and ceiling, large windows. But it needed to be led into the future as confidently as the product has. The old walls and floors were treated, and repainted to match the bold black and white of brand's colors.
Light boxes were designed and built to expose customers to new trends and styles, then grouped with the clothing they represent.
A logo wall was designed and executed near the entrance, showing '47's long and ever-evolving history over the past 70 years.
And that's really what the flagship store is about: expressing a brand's current place in the world, while paying homage to it's roots.
